Thirdway – Rebrand

Thirdway approached Kemosabe to perform a complete rebrand.

The brief was as a result of the evolution Thirdway had experienced over the past few years, going from hungry new start-up (the hunter) to ground-breaking market leader (the hunted).

The key to their brand personality lay in their culture and original approach to everything they do.

The most striking thing was that they never accept the ‘norm’ as being the best way. What the rest of the industry sees as being the way to do things, doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how it should be done.

Their creative spirit and company-wide desire to challenge, means that as a business they are setting new standards, both in the work they produce and the way they produce it.

Though to their mind, Rudyard Kipling probably better sums them up:

“For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack”.

The logo

Logotype – THIRDWAY required a simple, strong and recognisable logotype. The use of Gotham uppercase and the spaced lettering is confident and considered.

Wolf-mark – The wolf-mark exudes the personality of the brand. It’s graphic ambiguity suggests that THIRDWAY is more than just ‘another design and build business’. There is a depth to its personality that lives up to the concept of doing things the THIRDWAY.

This is our secondary logo stamp. It is used as a stamp to mark THE THIRDWAY.

It can also be used as a lock up with our primary logo.

It is always has a rough textured / stamp effect.

It is featured with texture, colour and image cutting through the hollow wolf outline.

Website design
