Southern Comfort Festive Campaign 2017

Following the huge success of 2017 mid year campaign, once again Kemosabe where asked to fulfil the 2017/2018 Festive Season campaign.

THE BIG IDEA

We aimed to amplify the brand film by bringing to life The Spirit of New Orleans and the warm, welcoming personality and heritage of Southern Comfort, with a Through-The-Line campaign.  The proposition was executed across a wide range of media channels including a national cinema campaign, OOH posters and ‘surprise and delight’ events and on and off trade press, to ensure consumers gained great exposure to the brand and shared their experience of the spirit nationwide across the UK during the festive season.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES WERE:

  1. To increase sales of Southern Comfort drinks within venues
  2. To increase sales of Southern Comfort’s new bottle in-store

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES WERE

  1. To bring the brand and the drink to the forefront of consumers’ minds during the festive season, bringing the Spirit of New Orleans to life
  2. To further promote the re-branded bottle, what the spirit is, how and when it should be consumed i.e. let it be the Southern Welcome drink to enjoy over the holidays
